Hi all

I am looking for some one who has the Rix grain bins and could measure how wide the bands are and how long they are between seams. Ive tried to extrapolate from photos but its not working

Thanks

Dick

Dick, you didn't say what scale or what size bin. Both the 30' and the 40' bins, however, have the same 24' diameter. That makes it a 75' circumference. With 6 segments, that makes each segment 12.5' long and 4.4' high. Scaling from a Rix photo gives a 5" band width.

You can convert these dimensions to your desired scale, but for N they are:
 diameter 1.8"
 segment length .94"
 segment height  .33"
 band 1/32"
