Bowser PRR H21a's in CK and SK In Stock

I received an email confirming what Bowser mentioned back in February.  The PRR H21a's are back and in stock at Bowser.  There are three road numbers in the CK and three in the SK.  Shop dates are P50 2-43 (Enola) for the CK and P50 10-58 (Enola) for the SK.  I will be getting all six cars, and back dating the SK to 10-55 or 10-56.  They appear to be using Bachmann boxing glove couplers and the original Crown trucks.  List price is only 14.95.  You can see them on their web page, or copy the following if it does not appear as a link:

Glad they  got rid of those old Rapidos.  Those were a bitch to get off.

Checked around but don't seem them listed as In Stock yet at the usual etailers.

whether or not they are rapido couplers is a deal breaker for me
I just do not find their prices to be in my ballpark when the additional cost of couplers or trucks with couplers to be worth it
I made the mistake of believing the photos on eBay with some of their cabooses which indicated MTL couplers but were
actually rapido

not going there again...

any word on what kind of couplers they have on these????

Would like to see more Pennsy and Berwind GLas as well.  Very happy about the H21s, though!

Just checked MBA Kleins and all 6 (3-SK, 3-CK) are out of stock.

I would really like to see Bowser do more of these, along with more GLa's and N5c's.  I would also like to see them make an N8.

My plan was to go down to the train room this morning and inventory my H21s before placing the order.  You snooze, you loose.

The good (kinda) news is Bowser still has 'em, but at full MSRP.  I ordered 3 CKs and also saw they had a Berwind GLa with a road number I didn't have, so I grabbed one of those also.

Ended up spending more than I wanted to but at least hopefully we're sending a collective message to Bowser that there's still a market for their N scale Pennsy stuff.  I'm not even sure how many N5 and N5C variants I have in PRR, PC, and CR downstairs.

I've realized lately that I have a thing for cabooses...  :trollface:
