A National Steel Car exterior post double door boxcar decorated for British Columbia Railway:






And an identical car decorated for Northern Alberta Railways:






A big thank you to friend Jeff Briggs for his usual fine job with the painting and weathering on the above models.

I'm beginning the process of my Niagara Canyon Bridge build.  This started with the "bridge box" which will allow a stable construction platform to build it on and a safe way to carry and store it during construction.

Just wrapped up laying track on the loop.





These little guys are almost ready as well.

Spent the day removing the spline roadbed from the layout in preparation for reconstruction. Turned out to be pretty robust. Most of it came off in one piece, track and all. Section in photo is mainline from Juniata yard all the way to Gallitzin. I laid it down in the front yard while we put a new top on the benchwork...


A lot of it will be reused on the new layout.

Started roughly carving and shaping the foam on the south bank of the Beatton River bridge scene.   Messy work but it is going fast.
