I was comparing the roadnumbers and artwork that FVM has posted to that used by Bowser on their HO H30 models.  The artwork matches Bower's cars and the road numbers in FVM's initial release match those used by Bowser in their initial release.  A nice HO/N project between two manufacturers.  All PRR CK are a must.  All CR and PC will most likely join them.  They are up for reservations at BLW (my preferred preorder pusher).  I hope the ride height is good.  Thanks.

Bryan:  I was looking for era data as well, but if you can't find any on your NP and GN wheel reports, I doubt that they were any more common on the BN in 1974 Montana.

For what it's worth (not much) I don't remember ever seeing one in Pasco in the late 60s or 70s.  I wasn't that interested in the Pennsylvania, but think I would have noticed such an unusual car.

My Firefox spell check accepts NP, but flags GN and BN as misspellings...

Okay. That's what I figured. The BLW site then doesn't seem to have a way to ask for "1 each for each available road number".

If you order the same count as the number of road number Pete usually figures it out. ;)  You can also put something in the comment section once you go through checkout.

I don't have much choice, as NH and PRR were practically "sister roads" in western CT and around NYC throughout the 20th century.  With few exceptions, all Washington/Boston passenger consists were mixed with equipment from both roads, and the New York Connecting Railroad (the Hell Gate Bridge section) was jointly built and owned by both roads.  PRR freight equipment had the second largest presence in CT, after NH — even more than the other New England roads.

I like Pennsy, but I don't need to have everything-PRR that comes to N.  Freight and passenger equipment, very little motive power, no cabooses.  I own GG1s, but two have been repainted CR and only 4935 Blackjack will remain in Pennsy livery (for pulling Amtrak consists).  Most of the others are being stockpiled to be used to power eventual scratchbuilt EP3 and EP4 electrics.  I have a Trix K4 that I may repower someday and use as CR's excursion power.  And all PRR-heritage cabooses I have are decorated in CR livery.

I model 1956 and 1980, so no CK scheme on the H30.  N&W equipment didn't have a large enough presence in western CT to warrant me having an H30 in that scheme.  I also have to watch the number of cement hoppers in general so that it stays close to the proper percentage of the freight fleet.  And they were a rarity by 1980, so probably no CR scheme for me either.
