Three generations of CSXT paint at Quantico MCB, 2014.

Sadly the light wasn't great (looks better blown up to full size), but not bad for a quicky cell-phone shot.

No photos to post this week, but I must say, it has been a riot of color on the NS line from Harrisburg to Hagerstown this month.  I've seen locomotives from BNSF (incuding a red/silver unit), CN, CP, CSX, Ferromex (!) and UP. not to mention an inspection train. And there have been numerous Heritage untis in the Harrisburg area this month too.

Last Saurday was the first warm day we had in quite sometime and it brought the foamers out in force.  Just another CSX passing St Denis, MD but what it was hauling was different.  Oyster shells from Florida to be dumped into the Chesepeake Bay.

Ha, fair weather foamers. Wasting the best time of year to shoot... and it can't get that cold way down there  ;)

Interesting scrawling on the back grills.
St. Denis is a great place to railfan, but staying there for 7hrs to cover for your friend who is off with a woman kinda wears out the fun... Especially when the traffic died down after 2pm.
