So where's the ME c55 Concrete flex?

I'm looking at starting a small modern layout for my sons based on the Front Range and Springs.  I'd like to use some concrete tie flex for a portion of it but  it doesn't seem to be available in my usual places.

What's the story on availability?  Is this a 'get it when you can' or does it come and go somewhat regularly where I could just order some and wait?

I haven't ever bough any, but every shop I've been in in the last 3 or 4 years that carried ME flex seemed to have it in stock.

Caboose, MBK, and FRT are my usual shops and none have it listed.

I have purchased a lot over the past two years from both MBK and FRT and have seen it in and out of stock over that time.  I don't think there are any systemic supply problems.  Chuck (FRT) doesn't normally stock ME track but he has has ordered it for me in the past and might be able to get some for you.  Drop him a note.

Being over sized and something that should be a stock item, I'd like to pick it up at Caboose but we'll see when the time comes.

Looking around the web it would appear that ME track items are a bit of a 'rolling blackout'.  Next time I'm up in Denver, maybe I'll just put in a pre-order for a few pieces.

If you don't find some I might be able to help.   I have a handful of new pieces and 2 or 3 "good used" I could part with to at least get you started.   I want to say my LHS (Dallas) might have some as well.   I bet Chuck will hook you up but if not let me know.

It's all in my basement. 

I found four bundles (6-pieces) on eBay a while back but it was non-weathered. I need more, preferably weatehred but, as you have observed, none of the usual suspecs have any.

Call the factory and ask - they're in Missouri, and when I did that some years back the very nice lady that answered gave me full information, including why the hang-up.

Never seen a listing anywhere for weathered C55 concrete tie from ME. Hmmm.

Course this stuff seems to be in the same place as all the Atlas C55 flex and turnouts.
