Z 905's on IM FT's

Have a set of NYC Intermountain FT's, with drawbar between A/B units. Just replaced rear coupler on B unit with MT Z 905. Perfect fit, at the right height. Used the screw that was in place already. Have to see if the IM F unit's will work out as well.
Just thought some would like to know.

Joe,

Good to know.

I used "body mount" Unimates between my IM F-7s. I also tried a MTL 905 on the A unit pilot and the metal trip pin was contacting the pilot. So, I kept the standard MTL N scale coupler there (for now).

Yes, the trip pins can get in the way at front of units. I just put Z905 on front of Atlas C420, with batwing plow. Had to add a shim to lower, so also just moved it forward a bit. Some folks just take the whole pin out anyway! They will rub against more common separate lift levers now too.
