I want to see them on some track with a good side shot to see ride height.

Any idea when the CN cars started service?

According to Kato, the body style was introduced in 2004.

Was able to get both sets in Timonium this past weekend.  Nice looking car but they seem really light (weight wise) to me.

JACX demonstrator cars built 08-2001, CN cars built July-Sep 2004, CP cars built Sep-Dec 2004, AMTK cars built Dec-2004 to Jan-2005.

Thanks Robb. I remember seeing CN autoracks in the late 90's with sort of the same still but had forgotten how the panels and ends looked. I will have to keep digging.

Not the best as it was running around the track at train set speed.
