Oh no Alex! I was hoping I'd run into you this weekend.

It looks like I'm gonna be at the CRHS table most of the weekend. We're shorter staffed than usual this time.

Make sure to stop by to check out our new stuff: hats, shirts, some books and... We're one of the ONLY places to buy Exactrail stuff that's not them. I guess those guys aren't all bad...

Expect to see me on Saturday. I'll be the guy walking around drooling. Been a few years since I've made the trek up north.

Got a local Greenberg show next weekend, but if the shopping pans out tomorrow may not need to go.

Hoping to find some advice as much as merchandise, especially on the DCC front for power districts and AR vs PM42 choices.

Be nice to spend some train time doing something besides breathing in sawdust.  :scared:

Well, a few impulse purchases. I picked up a Kato VRE set. After meeting Ed and Pete I was convinced (read: it was suggested) to buy a loop to actually be able to run my trains. So I got a small unitrak loop and power pack, and I can run my VRE and Amtrak sets on my work bench! Now to start some real modeling.

Unless they undercut your price at the same show... a dollar...but still.

Here was my special purchase yesterday.  An ESM N scale Conrail X58A.  Ed K. helped me pick the correct one for my era, and, as a second plus, my purchase was from and in support of the Conrail Historical Society.

What a beautiful model, Bryan Bussey!  This is my first ESM model, and it exceeds my expectations.  I guess I have no excuse not to enter into next year's photography contest (except that I suck at weathering and photography).  This car also adds a nice bit of variety to my fleet.  Well done!

Don't know about that, but Exactrail was selling their own items at Springfield.

Yes they were. At a price lower than CRHS could sell them at.

What's the interest in White Rose?  Got your eye on something specific?  Or just going to go check it out?

Still have PRR 44-tonners. Also got one in B&O. Snagged some MT cars at <$10. Amazing to be so close to Timonium and not enter the place, but I did it. Also made a dry run by the Choo Choo Nuts to familiarize the location.
