I hadn't been paying that much attention to the trailer-on-flats that roll by my office window lately, but after seeing this thread I started looking at them more closely.  Sho 'nuff, the trailing cars on a train today were a pair of flats with 3 long UPS trailers.  It was past me before I could look for a drawbar compared to a coupler though.

As far as I know all of the Triple-45s have drawbars.  The cost of an unwanted uncoupling is simply too high.

There is also the drawbarred connected RTTX flats. So quad 45 or Six 28s.
