I'm starting a new thread from the replies I got back in August.  I have always wanted to do Sanding Towers like these in Bluefield, WV:

Almost ready to go into production so I am throwing up the idea to see how it flies. The starter kit will come with two complete elevated Sanding Towers with an interconnecting walkway and two Engine Service Walkways for the exteriors. They could be used independently too by eliminating the interconnecting walkway. There will an expansion kit that will allow as many Towers as you want and Service Walkways extensions. Pricing is not even being considered yet until the design is finalized. Here are some basic elevations of a Tower:

Looks great.....even if not exactly what someone wants can be made to suit.  For me I can get that to look like the one the P&W has in worcester or CSX has in framingham and have some extra parts to use for any of the other modeling projects in my head. Love your stuff by the way the tank loading platforms are fantastic

1.625" min unless you raise the center platform to allow for clearance.
