Had enough time this week to paint and weather the concrete bridge piers (Woodland Scenics Road System Concrete Top Coat is the perfect colour), fabricate the HCD benchwork for the scene, and then place the bridge and piers in position to see how it will all look.

I have yet to install the lighting for the bottom deck so excuse the gloom within which the Beatton River scene is sitting.

That looks really good!  What are your deck heights?

I'm loving your bridges. Will look awesome with scenery and trains rolling across.

Nice work Tim. I always enjoy seeing passenger car work

Here's mine. Although I don't get to keep these as I have to send them to the client that commissioned them from me.  :)

They will be going into service on his WESTERN STAR.

Dang, Mr. Denton. You are a first rate arteest. Those are simply beautiful.

Track heights are 32, 44 and 58 inches respectively.   The lowest benchwork is the under the Beatton River bridge where it sits at 27 inches.      Low I know, but since I only have 13 ft x 10ft of horizontal space I figured doing 3 decks was the best way to achieve what I want

Thanks.    That is what I am going for.   Two decks dedicated completely to nothing else but single track and bridge crossings and the top deck as an intensive yard switching area.      Since this is a very lonely remote part of the British Columbia intensive operations with lots of meets were never part of the plan.    Good job, since you can only comfortably fit 2 or 3 folk in the layout room at once!

I collected the needed lumber to build a new FreeMo-N module (birch plywood, hardware, etc). My plan is to build a new module and then come up with a way to convert our oNeTrak spec to FreeMo-N.

On another note, I scratched a transformer for a power substation.

I attended the New Jersey RPM/LDSIG/OPSIG meet this weekend. Here's a link to my photos of the layouts on display and on the associated tour: https://picasaweb.google.com/118088460328917248458/LDSIGRPMOPSOGMeet?authuser=0&authkey=Gv1sRgCPW6j7_Z67LM3wE&feat=directlink,

Thank you for posting this Phil. Only 2hrs or so away but I was unable to make the meet this weekend  :(   Do you by chance have more pics of the bean plant at the end of the yard on Tonys NKP layout?

Andy that's all the pics I had on my camera. I did a dump directly into Picasa with them and then put up the minimal captions to identify the layout. It was a hike for me too coming up from the Philly area but I figured even only getting there half-way through the sessions on Saturday, the registration was worth it to see all these layouts on Sunday,

I'm a bit late to the party...  :D

Started building Milwaukee Road's 'Cedar Rapid' which I bought from Bill.

The Nystrom trucks are offered by someone from Shapeways. A lot of sanding is required to get the car body down to a reasonable height.
The axles are from BLMA.

Next stop: couplers and some grab irons.

David, the only way that would look better to me is if it was on my layout.  :D Beautiful work.
