I have a Kato #6 turnout that is completely ballasted in. The switch won't throw. I can move it manually but it won't stay tight to the rail. Does any one know of a way to fix the problem without ripping up the switch and the surrounding track? If it was a Peco or Atlas switch I'd just cut it out and replace it. Can't do it with KATO because of the rail joiners used. Help!!!
