Looking forward to Bluford's corn. From what I understand, they have been corn fanning alot..

If you are modeling the Midwest, narrow shelves and photos have to be the way to go for corn.  MRP had an article on that several years ago.

In reality, I think narrow shelves and photos may be the way to go for almost any scene.  Quickest, most realistic.  Depending on your cost for photo enlargement, it may not be the cheapest, although it does save on lumber to do narrower shelves.

We HAVE gone corn-fanning. We've also subscribed to corn magazines including The Kernel of Truth, Niblet, and Ah-MAIZEing!  :D

One question, how flexible is the assembly? Will it conform to rolling hills?

It's pretty flexible, particularly in one direction. You can also clip the base if you need to bend particularly far on the other axis.

The photos of the actual product look absolutely fantastic!...far more effective than even the 3-D artwork implied it would.
a little airbrushing will really make them 'pop'!
