Some questions for manufacturers:

Kato - is it too late to fix the too wide stripes on the NS SD70ACEs?????  Why oh why did they do this?  (pics up at katousa.com)

PWRS - any plans to do those Procor Sodium Chlorate hopper cars?

Trainworx - how about a 52' gon with 15 ribs???

Atlas - how about doing the modern flatcars in HO in N? (bulkhead, short bulkhead)

Exactrail -  Coilshield car in N????  (announced in HO)

If anyone stops by the Kato booth, ask why the new freight cars were taken off the production schedule.

If they tell you it's just a rumor, tell them you have a copy of the sheet they were listed on.

You're right — I just checked the sheets that arrived yesterday in the mail.  The freight sets are no longer listed.  Nice to see that the COLA and BL sets have sold out.  Disappointed to see the Phase III Amfleets have not.  The single-stripe green GG1 also has sold out, so maybe it will be reissued with the correct artwork.

Had a visit from Paul at Kato today. He came by the shop in the morning and said the announcement wasn't made at the NSC because of a change in factory scheduling. No word on if it will be announced this weekend and no, he didn't say what it was.
