"Newer" Kato Dash-9 coupler problem

Does anyone have a solution for the coupler height difference on Kato's later (not first run) dash 9 releases when using MT couplers?

I.E. The coupler pocket is higher on the last releases causing mine to ride too high compared to the others in the fleet. Any solution to this problem using MT couplers?

Thanks in advance.

I'm told that MT 1015's will work but you have to modify the opening in the pilot. Another way would be to use 1015 shanks in a 2004 box.

1015 shanks in the 2004 box is what I do.

1015s can also be done, but you have to modify the pilot, and use a screw instead of the stock coupler clip.

Another solution I've heard mentioned on the forums is the MT 2003, although apparently you have to drill an additional hole in the coupler box.
