Second major nostalgia hit in two days. Last night an NS train came through with a high-hood GP38-2 on the point. They were stopped waiting for the junction signal, and I asked the engineer, "Who did you p*** off to get this antique?" He laughed, pointed back to the lone toaster behind it and said that it needed major service and if it wasn't for stealing the Geep from the local, they'd never have gotten their train out of town.
