Baltimore and Ohio Modelers?

I started this thread in order to find and bring-out the various Baltimore and Ohio modelers I know are scattered throughout this forum. I am really interested in discussing the modeling of the Baltimore and Ohio by individuals as well as discussing the prototype Baltimore and Ohio. All eras are welcome, and feel free to post anything on related projects or even just updates to your collection, etcetera. Anyway, I hope that this can become a medium by which B&O modelers can come together and profess their love for the Baltimore and Ohio.

I model the B&O mountaion sub in the csx era, circa 2000. From Tera alta West Virginia to newburg WV.

Good! It is nice to know there is other CSXT modelers out there. While I started this thread about B&O, I technically model CSX and its predecessors (I do have a certain preference for the B&O, though). Here in New Jersey, specifically in the model railroad club I am in (NJS N-Trak), a lot of our members either model Conrail and its predecessors, or whatever they want to (they buy whatever they like and run it), so I am a bit of a minority in that regard (modeling CSX and its predecessors).

I agree! If I had any room for a layout, I would build one, but alas, it will not happen any time soon. Once I get everything I need for them, I will put up pictures of the B&O heavyweights I am making from the old Rivarossi/Atlas/Lima cars. I am also re-motoring one of the old Life-Like plastic-framed E8 locomotives that the motor died in with a Kato motor donated by a friend, and I plan on adding DCC when I get an appropriate decoder.

I model from the Chessie System up to today's modern CSX fleet if that counts.

I'm sure my son will post here eventually, but Chessiefan like duel era B&O-  Passenger trains of the 40s and 50 and Chessie in the 70s.

Some day when he's famous, he hopes to build a Sandpatch layout.

I model B&O indirectly.

I model CSX from 1986-2000 Conrail merger.  I don't do Dark Future.

So in the first 10 years, there was a good deal of B&O running on CSX.

One of my other prizes is a brass EA / EB set.  Enjoyed seeing the real one at the B&O museum.

Of course Chessie System and CSX count, seeing as the B&O was a holder in Chessie System, and CSX was a successor to them, so they might as well be B&O. Any way, nice work on all of those models, and to the owner of the EA/EB set, beware... They are high on my wish-list, and I am not above thievery... (Kidding...)

I model Chessie/B&O in the era 1978-1980 I got lots of locomotives and some scratchbuilt B&O structures haven't been able to post pictures because my camera is too old and I haven't been able to find a driver compatible with windows 7      I have pics on my cell phone I hope to upload. Currently working on a Chessie ACF cylindrical hopper train using the undec Bowser model.

That layout is outstanding! I think I seen it on youtube. The topography along the tracks is really executed well  it makes for an extremely realistic scene.

There is also a yahoo group with some knowledgeable modelers.  Not a very active site; but I check in from time to time.
