Structure Kit Info

Anybody familiar with these two structures? Who's the manufacturer, what are they made out of, and for the fertilizer plant, it looks like it's based on a prototype somewhere, anyone know where?

EDIT: The fertilizer plant says "Wabash Valley Models" and appear to be craftsman type. I missed that. Still, curious about what it's based on and what other kits might be in the series. Like this one:

The fertilizer plant is by Wabash Valley Models. It was probably produced in the '70s. I don't believe Wabash lasted beyond that, but I could be wrong. It is not likely to be laser cut, but sheet basswood and stripwood. It was a craftsman kit of that era. I can't see the $30 price. Maybe for a collector.
Now someone with actual knowledge of the specific kit can prove me wrong.
I don't recognize the other structure.
The Hometown series is of the same era. I've got the pickle plant kit. Others include Campbell (they lasted a long time), Dimi Trains, Gloor Craft (may still find some of these), John Rendall (later JV Models), McFadden Models, Period Miniatures and Muir models (probably the most prolific).
I've got some from each of the above manufacturers; I may or may not use them as the laser kits are so much better.

The Hometown Series is part of the Wabash Valley Models line.
As I recall these were based on prototype structures, many of which existed nearby the manufacturer in Indiana.
The kits were little more than sheet and strip stock with rudimentary drawings and minimal instructions. They sold for about $10-12.
Here are the ones I know of:

[in plastic bag]
9912 Mail Pouch Barn
9651 Columbia City Coal Company
9841 Orton Crane Works
9612 Markle Mill
9671 Cannery
9821 Warehouse
9661 Briggs Fertilizer Plant

[in box]
9991 H. C. Fricke Coke Company (Connelsville, PA)
9999 Community Water Tank
9685 Railroad Water Tank
9631 Pickle Plant
Modeling the NYC of the early 1950s

Well looky what we have here:
http://www.prototypespecificproducts.com/hometown-structures-and-cl-building-sheets/

Seems that someone is still making some of that stuff. Caution, site plays music when it finally finishes loading. Gad I hate that.

Thanks for the infos. I think I'll pass on it all, I'm not very creative and if I was I'd buy my own sticks. Maybe the Walthers one, that might make a neat little warehouse somewhere.

The music wouldn't bother me, as I keep the speaker muted on my PC to keep from having to listen to Windows' "bells and whistles".  Learned that at work before I HAD a computer of my own...  But I do hate having to wait for animated or audio home pages to load when all I want is information.  Some web designers forget that there are still people on dial-up, or with other bandwidth limits.

Prototype Specific Products is a weird one.  At one point, they had informed me they were going to do their troop car etched sides in N.  It's a shame they didn't.
