This will be a great scene. I love looking at the pictures of all those wood trestles in the Gerry Doeksen book, especially with some orange and green GN SD9s going over them.

actually...mine will be blue and white, sorry :)

That's okay... In my world, orange is a colour that's reserved exclusively for the Milwaukee Road  8) .

It sounded like a good idea at the time... too bad the caboose wasn't in on the plan.

Nice job!  Do you have a part number and /or link to the handrail parts?

Craig

That was an inside joke.  The handrails are simply Walthers Proto GP-60 parts that I cannibalized off a friends spare shells.   You could as easily use Kato SD40-2 handrails for the front and end CRS-20 handrails.   I just didn't have any spare Kato shells around.

Mark,

Is that a custom paint job ?   It looks beautiful.

An Atlas SD9 to start with I presume,e ?

Thank you...but no, it is stock Atlas.  I just weathered it and added the flags and holders.  It does look great paired with a BN GP7 snaking down the 5% grade into Nelson...

Great weathering!

Alternate version:

Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."
