Atlas new flush deck flat autoracks

With Atlas releasing their new flush deck flats for which I will have several for TOFC, I was thinking about getting some for open autoracks http://crcyc.railfan.net/crrs/auto/el940983.jpg I think with all these excellent flats coming out, there would be a market for etched brass racks, due to the variety of flats used for autorack service. That might be a good option for re-purposing the MTL 89' TOFC cars, given that any rack would obscure the flatcar detail.  I'd be more inclined to go that route instead of mounting racks on the better-detailed Atlas model.  But yes, your suggestion appears to be a viable one.

Until there's an F89CH flat, I'm not going to get too excited about any aftermarket racks, but then again, I don't need any Bi-Levels.

The 85' car were pretty short lived once 89' was standard.

True, bit for those with sharper curves, the 85 ft cars may be a better choice.  Maybe not prototypical for their era, but if they make the difference between smooth running and derailments, who's going to complain?  I'll bet they'd sell.

Can someone post the link of where Atlas announced the flat cars mentioned in the OP?  I couldn't find anything anywhere...
