It's possible to beat both PA and WV. Try North Carolina, near the Tennessee border. Spend some time in the Smokies there, and your head will never be the same.

Although I will say I've had the absolute very best bacon ever in Franklin, NC.

Oh ya, try this: my dad and I where looking for the Portage incline (a national park) and we took and exit to early for it. So, we though we would ask a local in the town we drove into to give us directions. NOTE: Keep in mind that we are within 5 miles of the place. When my dad asked a worker at a local general store (I am not kidding) the worker responded that she had never hear of the Portage Incline. Beat THAT! Your serve.

Serious question:  What is the difference between an air HORN and an air WHISTLE?  They're both devices for making musical notes with compressed air, so what determines which it is? 

Wikipedia says "horns" have a vibrating reed or diaphragm, while whistles don't.  Then, in a later paragraph, they say that large air horns are actually whistles...

Then there is this comment on a "horns and whistles" forum:
"Now days nothing.In days gone by a whistle was powered by steam and a horn was powered by compressed air.Now our rule book lists whistle signals to be used but the engines says horn on the button or lever to operate the whistle.The two terms are still both used.

Well, let me put it this way: my folks lived in the Smokies of North Carolina near the Tennessee border for several years. Consequently, I spent more time there than I'd have preferred. Some of my experiences there were quite disturbing, but those of my folks ultimately drove them out of the state.
