  In fact, I seem to recall a picture of an SP locomotive being used as power on the Winston-Salem Southbound Ry. (a short line in North Carolina) of all places.

SP owed N&W money and horsepower-hours from a 1977-1978 lease agreement, so SP power on the N&W (half owner of the WSSB) was quite common after that

This makes me happy. I mean Conrail, BN, SP, UP, and SF are my favourite railroads. This means I can collect the rolling stock I would like to have, it won't make a big difference...
