BN CB&Q GN NP hopper question

I model the early BN, and I have found a few photos similar to this, showing an open hopper train with a mix of cars, some are easily identified, a CB&Q quad, a BN 3 bay, etc., the cars I can't identify are the brown or red cars (3rd car back in the photo), they appear to have the same height as the other 3 bay cars, but I am not familiar with any BN predecessor cars that would've been painted red or brown, the only ones that come close are GN 70000-70299 series, but these cars would be shorter, closer to the height of the CB&Q quad car.

Anyone have any ideas?

I don't know the specifics,  but BN did get at least one series of former MKT hoppers, Greenville 3600 triples.  These were originally red.

Well, that makes sense, it stands to reason the BN would've needed these in the early days with the coal traffic boom.

The above car appears to have the height, do you know if this is a Greenville car?

The photo is dated 1978, so I guess it's possible.

Thanks for your help.
