Thanks to the tips by Ed K. on his Conrail 1285 website, http://www.conrail1285.com/news.asp?storyid=75, I was able to get my cell phone up and running as a WiThrottle very easily.  It's fun to play with, especially once I learned that I can use the volume buttons to control a locomotive's speed, which I much prefer over the slide controls on the touch screen.

Learning the tricks of JMRI and creating my roster should keep me busy for a while.

Been working with JMRI since the beginning... It is SO robust, and keeps getting better with each release.
Be careful though - You will NEVER, EVER go back to programming via the throttle!

I tried to program one of our club member's locos at a show a few weeks ago via the throttle, and totally forgot how to set a 4 digit address...
