Anybody model these?
The Mrs. and I were talking, and she mentioned "fire trains". I had never heard of them, so she proceeded to search for examples:

I can see where these would be useful, particularly for ROW protection in remote areas.
It would be an unusual model, and a good way to use up some leftover tankers and passenger equipment.

There are others in Switzerland, and in Switzerland, Germany and Austria there are tunnel rescue trains.

In the US, both UP (SP) and BNSF have fire fighting equipment - I think both RR's sent theirs to Colorado last summer during the
brushfire outbreaks.

There was an article in TKM #70 a while back. Foamite cars. It was a tender and a shanty and on a flat car.
