Fasttrack jigs with C70 track?

I need quit a few switches for my new RR.I'm using ME C70,and right now,I can barely find them.I need 20 just to finish the upper two track mainline, and I have three yards. Not only that,I have a pile of extra rail, and the amount of money I'd save is more than worth it.Only problem,Fast Track doesn't make a specific C70 jig. What difference is there between the codes as far as the actual jigs? Can I get away with a C55,or won't it work? I watched the video, looks like the code shouldn't be a problem,yet,C40 and C55 take different jigs..Any thoughts?

Don't know the answer to your question, but-
They do make code 70 jigs for HOn30-which is "N gauge".
(lots of HOn30 people used N scale track; some still do)
Any chance you could use those jigs and "fudge" the tie positions a bit?
You might be able to tell from their on-line templates, or ask FT if it would work...

Code 55 won't fit in the Code 40, because the base of the rails differ. I'm not sure of the size of the base of Code 70, but if it is the same as Code 55, you could use a Code 55 jig.  However, as some have demonstrated here, you don't need the jigs.  Just print out some templates from the Fast Tracks website and build on top of the template.

I'm sure Tim would make whatever jig you wanted.

Chris,I E-mail Tim..Kiasutha,not so sure about the HOn30 jig idea..I think that the ties would be a problem.Besides being longer,I think since they're HO,they'd be deeper and wider..The actual jig is probably about the same though, otherwise.

Truth.
You'd need to shim the tie pockets somehow.
I've never owned their jigs, just use templates.
It was a shot in the dark on my part,
for something that might work.
I was assuming a custom job wasn't practical/available.
