Needed!! N Scale modeler who can restore an N-Trak landmark

New Jersey Southern N-Trak has a module that has been with us for a long time and in 2008 it took a hit that has rendered it Dead on Shed.

The module consists of the three standard mains, all three running across a one-of-a-kind wooden bridge that was scratchbuilt all by one man.

The lumber is all pine (sugar pine I believe) that the individual cut to size, all from a single tree that he had grown from a seedling.

The flextrack mains are still intact and some of the structure intact as well, but so much of the bridge is in pieces (some large others small) that none of us can even come close to trying to put it back into shape. The module framework and electricals are intact. The scenery around the bridge could probably use a refresher as well, but that is something that I can take on once the bridge is addressed.

What we're looking for is someone who has the skill and time to take on such a project, with proper payment of course, to help get this iconic bridge back out on the road and into layouts once more.

The goal is to have as many pieces put back into the bridge as possible, but any such parts that are confirmed to be beyond salvage could be replaced with basswood cut to the proper size.
The more pieces that get back into the bridge the better, so if possible, the repair of parts would be the more preferred option if it won't cost too much.

The payment for this work would be made by New Jersey Southern N-Trak, which is a Not-for-profit organization.

If anyone can fill this need, or has possible suggestions or especially a contact or a good lead, We'd be very appreciative to hear about it.

These are the "now" photos. Ignore the date on the photos. They were actually taken in 2010. My mom's camera used to not put date stamps on photos, now it does, and it took the camera awhile to allow us to change the date.

100% wood. Pine to be exact. Entire bridge is cut from one tree that was grown by the builder from a seedling.

Looks like a lot of work, but I don't see piles of splinters, so it should just be a big puzzle to reassemble.

It doesn't look too bad to me--actually, I think it would take only a few hours to reassemble the structure, and then a little more to patch up the breaks. I've tackled this type of work before, when I fell through my harbor bridges, or when my nephew thought my Big Warrior model would make a dandy sword for his version of Peter Pan. Most of this looks like it could just be re-erected and coaxed back into position. Be glad to fix it. As I discovered with my own disaster, once I got a few critical structures in position, the rest almost fell into place.

Was that module in the 04 Chantilly layout or even the earlier Unconventions in Richmond? I might have a photo or two of it from back then. I know I've seen it before. Have to go get my old computer out of the closet and look it up.
