I want to print off some decals on clear backing with my HP CP1025nw color laser but I have not done any self decal printing. What would those who have recommend out there?

I use Bare Metal Foil Laser decal paper in my Alps. I suspect it will work fine in the printer it is intended for. The film is slightly thicker than Microscale and it is also very flexible. I like the fact that it is not as fragile as Microscale.

I like the Tango Papa decal film.  It's nice and thin.

I've done Bare Metal Foil Laser in a laser - both clear film and white film. The images came out nice and crisp, and they decals hold up well.  They do take a tad more setting agent to really snuggle in around certain raised parts and decals e.g. ribs on boxcars and such.

I've used the Micromark white and clear with no troubles in color and b/w lasers.
