IM January Announcements - F3's are back

I like the NP and GN F3's and the CGW units are tempting... I can't justify running them (the CPR never leased those in that livery, just the candy red one) but they look great !
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

Now if they'd release F7's in WP again I'd bet set.  I need a couple B's for the CZ.
Can't model worth a darn, but can research like an SOB.

I was hoping for F3's or F7's in CB&Q greybacks but disappointed again!

I'm a little surprised.... you'd think the CB&Q would have been a natural choice, especially given the other Hill Lines were included...sorry for your bad luck !

Southern and CGW...the Southern ones are amazing, and I love that CGW scheme; I remember seeing some in a Walthers catalog a few years ago...I may have to go NYO&W style with them...

While I need an A unit to pull my lone F7B I am kinda glad they did not so I can justify an ABA of the NP locos!!

Cody, you forgot Reading and CNJ!  After Intermountain cancelled the Reading F-7's a few years ago, every time I see them at a train show I tell them I am still mad at them.  I figure after I make my own decals and paint up a few, they will announce them.  Probably in the same road numbers too.  Still looking for the two CNJ F-3A road numbers I don't have.

To piggyback on this thought, what are the built/in-service dates of the gray CR hoppers?

Aw man, simplified GN units.  Too few though, I need more... F7s please too, and black NPs to go with those.

Now seeking Pacific NW N scalers to create a Modutrak-style modular club featuring NP's shared mainline between Seattle and Portland. PM me if interested.

So the GN and NP units are shown as a different "phase" in the illustrations.  I am going to assume they will be offered as phase IIs and not whatever the drawing is.
