Question for the eastern guys. Did the PC cars make it off line, to say, Milwaukee? Were these used for cement or did they also ship flour. One of the Beer Line teams tracks served a flour company, which received air slides. Just wondering if I can justify one of these. Very cool car.

Best wishes, Dave
If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Dave yes they did also ship flour and other products. Some ended up in Hostess/Wonderbread paint.

Edit: NM, I forgot these were PD5000's

Looks like the earliest built date is 1974, on the PC car(s).

I'll be sitting this one out– too late for me.

Had the PDF existed when I started that thread, I would have posted it.  But I refuse to be sorry for posting news while it was still news.

I was happy to see shots of the CEFX, BJHX and PPGX cars well past 2005....

We have several of the CEFX cars right now on a customer track in Palmer Mass.

My fault on the double thread...   I remembered hearing about this somewhere - but my vague recollection was that it was MTL looking into these cars, so I thought this was news!

Must have happened when I was offline for 2 weeks after Sandy!  There a good excuse!!!
