Athearn has put the Mack R tractors anounced in 2011 to arrive in May. There is a God!

Ahh, the manufacturer's slight-of-hand...  'Bout time, if it means 2013.  Now how about some Ford Cs and that F850 I've been craving (yes, never satisfied, I know...)

Ha! None actually, I need them for the Cerestar corn syrup plant in Framingham. They used a red single axle Mack R to move trailers in the lot.

I'll grab a few more in green and white. I can always use a few extra. I just wish they hade made some in Roadway.

The part I don't get on the Athearn pricing is this...you can buy a Tow Truck or Cement Mixer for the same price as a plain Tractor. 

That is the route I always choose to go.  I can always scratch build a fifth wheel and use the Mixer body on a GHQ Pete or some other Tractor.
