Again, you're good. All of the cars in the first release except for the Rutland are in their 1947 as-built schemes, so the service (or new) dates match the 1947 build dates.
You can backdate the car by renumbering to 8700-8725 and a 1953 build date, but you would have to change the door as well to a 5-panel Superior - which is doable, but you would have to acquire an undecorated model to get the door and paint to match.
What? I'm not sure what you're try to say here but here's the first release.All are new dates but SSW and WP.BM 9-47BCK 10-56SSW 3-59LV 6-47MEC 10-47MILW 7-55RUTLAND 2-55WP 5-56Jason
The cars in the first release all have the 12-stiffener roof. The cars in the upcoming second release are a mixture of 10-stiffener and 12-stiffener roofs.
When were the 10-stiffener ones and the 12-stiffener ones produced? I thought the early ones made around '47 - '49 had only 10 stiffeners.
Yes, I corrected my post earlier.Looks like possibly one more release of 7-foot door schemes late in 2013 before the next body variation? The remaining original-owner roads with 7-foot doors after the second release will be CG, CMO, CNW and NKP.
