EMD GT46C-ACe Locomotive Dropped on Delivery

I know the locomotive in that video is not Australian, but - quite randomly - this started me on a google mission looking at GT46C-ACe's and I have to admit I'm intrigued...  Especially by the contrast of old EMD cabs and modern hood units.  The Ghan is a rather attractive train too.   Would anybody care to suggest some great Australian railroading and model railroading websites?  I'm searching, but just not finding anything that's not a dead end.
