PRR K4 running at the Bedford N Scale Weekend (Video)

The Bedford PA N Scale weekend is about running trains and here is a short video running my K4 with a good sized passenger train.  Plenty of head end equipment also.

Hi Doug,

Deserves all the accolades it gets. What was the tender mech of the K4. I have been looking at a couple of those Tomix Chassis to see if they would fit a tender.

Hi Al:  The tender is a custom design by Hans Starmans.  The one part you don't see is the 2.5 oz machined weight that sits over the drive truck.

I could just imagine. That is a great piece of kit. I really enjoy seeing what John Le (Lemonsteam does with his models as well as Marc. It is great to see the two concepts in action. John is a fiddler after my own heart but with a lot more technical expertise.

Doug, once again you have shown why you were my inspiration for attempting Pennsy in N.  Everything about that video is pure Pennsy goodness, everybody as awesome or even better than what our HO brethren can do.  Fantastic K4, perfect consist.

Thanks for all the kind words.  Like the MiNi Modutrak crew, better modeling through peer pressure is a good motto.  Making those videos is rather fun.  This was another iPhone production - shot, edited, and uploaded all on the phone. 

Pennsy passenger consists are always interesting with lots of head-end equipment and a mix of heavyweights.  The key to this consist though is the PRR B60b and that's why Claus and I did that car through Hell Gate Models.  It is a unique and distinctive design and without it a proper Pennsy consist would be almost impossible (as would consists on many other railroads as the PRR B60b could be seen in passenger trains all over the country).

Doug, your K4 looks great. And I really like the two videos you did of your layout watched them  many times very nice modeling. Will the B60b be available soon? I would like to get a few.     Rich
