Ike- nailed it! They built 3000 of the things and they are still running with many roads. Kato did them and has a small selection of road names and very limited supply.

I agree, those are pretty nice.  What got me was the Z-scalers getting Spartan cab SD70s.  Love those units.  We got SD70's out the wazzoo in N-scale, but no standard cabs.

I was thinkging spcifically the H43 class of hoppers based on an N&W design.  Lasted well into the 90s.

Bowser did these in HO, but I thought the Atlas 90-100 Ton was also based on that same design.

I know ATL has released the 90-100 Ton hopper in a H-43 scheme. The panels sure look right.
