Hmmm, even goes the length of saying "HO model shown", so it seems to be real. Bachmann's going to make many N scalers potentially happy. Me included, as soon as the Milwaukee and Northern Pacific releases hit the stores.

That's cool as far as the 2-6-0 goes.  I'd like to see if I could figure out how to make a 2-8-2 under a boiler of about that size, somehow.

Well; this is the quietest announcement of a MAJOR offering (ok, till more info, a Potentially major announcement)....

Sight unseen, I'll tip the hat to Bachmann for even giving this a go................if it's like their 44T and 90T I will be quite happy.

@Chris333 - Couldn't agree more about wanting an S1, but for the N scale world out there to finally get an endcab switcher that doesn't have "EMD" anywhere on it is truly a miracle.  Plus one that (I would assume) has all of today's technology in it compared to the long-in-the-tooth Arnold model...

The S-4 is great news in that it shows a continued interest in N scale switchers. Maybe there is hope for an FM H12-44 some day!

I wish Bachmann could get on board with proper undecorated models though, no glue and unpainted available. Don't get me wrong I will get S-4's with minimal lettering and black stepwells, but if they are like the 70 tonners it will be a slow and carefull process to get them dissassembled for painting, and hopefully not ruin any handrails or glass in the process.
