One more quick question. Will there be multiple numbers for each scheme?

From the standpoint of, for example, "will there be three road numbers on the Conrail cars?"  Yes, but the caveat is that each of the three Conrail models is based on a specific real sized X58.  So yes, three cars with different road numbers, but each has its own distinct features so no two look exactly alike.  Same for the Pennsy and PC cars.  You can see in the photo at the top of the thread that the placement of the "CONRAIL" lettering is different on all three cars.

Ok, as long as there are multiple CR cars. I just purchased 7 of the P-S waffles, and I need a LOT more of these babies.

Thanks for sharing the photos.  I plan on getting them all.  I  may even get an extra Conrail or two and attempt some renumbers and adjusted reweigh dates (read back date).  I need to look at the lettering and see if Microscale Penn Central sheet 1094's data is a close match or not.  Thanks.

Jeff, I suggest buying the three Conrail cars and waiting for the next release, rather than renumber additional cars.  Plenty of ESM Conrail is coming down the pike.

Also of note - all three Pennsylvania schemes in this batch are from the Conrail era (photographed 6/76, 6/84 and 4/82 respectively).  The second car (photographed 6/84) specifically has a CR BL 4-82 service date.

Bryan,

Which of the ex-PRR cars were photographed in 6/84 and 4/82?  These match my chosen era perfectly.

Thanks,

#222107 and #222108.  They are the two Pennsy cars in the back two rows on the right in the photo.

Brian

For somebody modeling the mid 70s which of these fit with their dates?

First quarter of 2013.  Save your pennies, as the Pennsy XP is not the only car you will want.

No worries.  I'm really close to winning the $20,000 on the 4 Square Bingo Scratcher.

If you're trying to tempt me into the purchase of my first PRR car, it just might work...

I'll tell ya, they're stunning cars.

They really stand out in a string of same-ole, same-ole boxcars.

Which is why I'm looking forward to owning a few of these cars in addition to the waffle box cars that are presently waiting for me at the post office.
