Nice shot Andy! Looking forward to seeing some more photos of the layout at the convention next month. I spent the weekend roughing in some scenery with pink styrofoam. Very messy! Wife very unhappy! LOL!

Cody,
Those boxcabs on that layout just run off of 1.5V D battery and an on/off switch. Their motors are from Kato power chassis and are rated at 12V. They have a very low gear ratio so the only way for them to be "slow" is to run them at reduced voltage. They are also wired together with a cap. This new loco I posted this week has one of these under the hood:

It runs pretty good and has higher gear reduction so I run it using one of these:

Maybe I should rebuild the boxcabs to use the power max chassis...

My late to the show post showing what I got done on the worlds oldest N scale layout project (at least it seems to be).Did not get as much done as I wanted but still enough to rate a pic.



Hopefully I will have this area finished by next week end and worthy of posting another pic.

Thanks Mike it is good to be here. Us golf Pros dont have time to model in the summer unless we are injured. As my blog said i couldn't walk sunday so i had no choice but to model. My ankle is starting to feel better which is good because i have to play tomorrow.

It could also pass for the McD's by Stuttgart Airport in Germany that opened in Dec '08. Said McD's is a McD's Cafe which also carries cakes and coffee.
