I finally got my own Piggy Stacker yippe.

Got a curved yard lead down this week, with just the slightest hint of superelevation (0.010" worth).

Red Caboose stock Norfolk Southern auto rack redecorated for classic Conrail and modified with tri-fold doors and smaller diameter brake line.

This is not new work but I need to get my post-count up so I can get in a few locked doors here 

I am doing a redition of certain parts of the Erie Lackawanna's Scranton Division. Just east (i.e. towards Scranton) from the great Tunkhannock Viaduct is the Factoryville (or Nicholson) Tunnel. I found this photo online taken in 1977 (so the loco is numbered for Conrail) and wanted to emulate it.

The three engines aren't for me, but I was asked to do them so there they are...    Might just do a Santa Fe Zebra SD70ACe next.

That Conrail autorack looks great Bryan.  I renumbered three Penn Central Athearn single bay airslides, patched out the PC reporting marks with MS trimfilm and now I have three Conrail airslides.  My inspiration was from all of Karl Greffchen's photos on Fallen Flags.  Thanks.

If things go as planned, attendees at the N Scale Enthusiast convention in Medford will see the prototype.

That Santa Fe "heritage" unit looks great!  Can't wait for BNSF to take the lead and come out with a prototype series.

No modelling for me.  Great weather to enjoy this weekend, and packing up the rolling stock and pulling out dust covers.  Heading for eight weeks of fieldwork in the Arctic.  Instead of  , it will be snowmobiles, polar bears and muskox.

The photo is of a commercial Z scale kit, one of a series from the TownBuilder System (a collaboration of NZT Products and Stonebridge Models). We started by making Z scale structure kits, with the intention of bringing them to N at some point. Of the six Z scale kits we've made so far, we chose this one as our first for N scale based in part on the feedback of Railwire members.
