Is it the seller's intent to sell 100 of these cars all in one auction?  If so I fear he will be sorely short on a return.

While I'm not interested, IF I was I would want to clarify that point before bidding.
Some of the wording leaves me in doubt as to how many cars you are actually bidding on.
If it is for all hundred kits, I'd agree the seller "blew it" on this one...

Common sense tells me it can't be, but the wording says yes, it's so.

I could use about 20 of the cars (to repaint), for which I'd gladly pay $100. Hmm... does anyone here want to chip in and place a collective bid? :trollface:

Crazy to bid ?     Maybe.

I can assure you both you and Dee would definitely be crazy long before 100 if you tried to build that many !

Nope..According to the listing,all the same #..I'm a LV freak,I seriously doubt I could use 4..LOL!! I'm not really sure if such a car existed on the LV,they had DD auto boxcars,but I don't think a DD was ever painted white.THere was a lot of something like 5 MTL boxcars he has,buy it now was only like 27 bucks..Maybe it's a dutch auction?

Maybe the LV Historical Society could put in a bid, then sell them individually as a fundraiser.  I can't imagine an individual needing that many, or having room on a layout for them.

 Seriously,I can undrrstand not selling them one at a time,but why not in lots of 2,3,4,ETC? I wouldn't bid more than 100 bucks,but I'd still bid 100 bucks for ten..

He wont get much for them, i would go as high as $200 for the lot. I mean who really builds kits anymore, everything is RTR. Depending on the price, I would go in with someone and buy 10 - 20. Something to think about
