Question about Wlthr's DCC 130' turntable

BLW now lists that the long awaited DCC version of the Walther's 130' indexed turntable is available (in stock).  I have the DC version and have enjoyed it very much.

Recently I added DCC as an option to my layout, but obviously not to the turntable.

Have any of you considered buying the new DCC version?  If yes, have you determined how you could operate it and retain the option of running DC engines i.e. without decoders?

I know the power to the DC turntable track is wired separately and would appear to allow for using a DPDT switch to allow for DC or DCC.

I think the DCC is for the indexing,I run DCC on the old table,but I index with the ciontrill box,not the the trottle

May be this is my answer, just not the step by step install for using with DCC and DC.

Since I started this topic a few days ago, I have re-wired the turntable bridge track so it operates either with DC or DCC.

The rotation of the turntable is still being controlled by the unit supplied by Walther's and power for that motor is from the power pack I was using when my layout was simply DC.

By using the DPDT switch, I can now use either DC or DCC to move locomotives from the roundhouse onto the turntable and out into the yard and onto the mainline.

I am now less tempted to order the new DCC version.
