Can someone give me a heads on on the era appropriateness of the CP and CN schemes?
I'm looking for mid 80s options... also, what service were these cars usually in? Cement? Potash? Salt? Other chemicals?
On this release, plain white with red lettering for the CN cars, the CP are appropriate 1969 onward.
CN Environmental Mode and the gray w/black lettering are early 1990's and on.
Yes, round hatch cylindricals covered all those commodities and more (TH&B's were used in phosphate service amongst others). Nepheline syenite is one commodity that CP cars would be found in as well
