My only comment is that the roof looks a bit too pristine given the surroundings.  I would be inclined to add more detritus to it (rocks, logs, timbers..) to better match the extent of the slide below the shed.  And maybe a bit of ravaged shrubbery where the roof meets the hill.

Cheers,
Gary

Perhaps they kept the roofs of the sheds swept Gary???

I don't have a shot of the roof of shed #2 but this is the curved shed #1 about 4-5 miles to the East.

Just got back from Timonium where Ed was setting up his weathered cars.  Looked good Ed.  Did manage to finally find a Kato PRR SD-40 at a decent price.  Now to find a Kato SD45.  One group was selling hard cover books at $15.00 a piece, 4 for $55 or 8 for $100.  Pickup up a couple as they normally sell for between $30 to $60 each.

Nope.  Just found some "close enough" fonts and rolled my own.  Neat resource, though.  Thanks!

Added more Scenic Express super trees to the layout.  This time I use coarse foam instead of fine. More info @ http://genevasub.blogspot.com

I have not been able to post the explanation of my photo of two B'mann engines: 4-8-2 on left, 2-10-2 on right.  Just got NCE Power Cab working again.

Well, finished the general structure this weekend for the local Domino's Pizza.  Need to plant some shrubs and grass around the facility to give it some more character.

I really like the Pinsly railroads, some Claremont & Concord decals in N would change my whole modeling trejectory.....see the first three pics shown here.......

http://photos.nerail.org/show/?order=byrail&page=15&key=Claremont%20Concord

I used the smaller sublettering that comes on the HO Concord Car Shops Pinsly decals. They can sometimes be found on that bay site. The lettering is a little too big, and most of it was letter by letter. Actually, that whole decal set is a little too large, but there was a set available from Concord Junction Decals that was scaled correctly, and I know those would work better. Here is an HO Athearn SW-9 I did for my foobie road(when I was 15), using the correct size decals....The photo also shows where my forum name comes from.......

I also managed to squeeze this out of the same set used on the RS-3.....

Hope this helped you...

Thanks! I've seen the HO decal sets show up on ebay every now and then, but funding was never there. I too really like the Pinsley roads but never had the options to model one due to the rarity of decals.

Just a little teaser of my way-less-than-finished entry into the Middlesex Manufacturing contest.

Best regards,

Love the Pinsly stuff... not something I would have expected to see.  Don't forget, Pinsly has a business car and it could be easily modeled if someone would want to include it.  The Sam Pinsly formerly was B&O Maumee River, the same name it carried when built for the NYC.  While the car stays on the Florida Central now it use to be on one of the lines up north.  Would be easy to model, using either the Kato or Centralia Car Shops/IM sleeper observation car, which is an exact match...
