Currently up to 29 units...

BC6, maybe you should ask BN Freak to not bid on the ones you are bidding on! ;)

I can not get in N scale:

A nineteenth century ten wheeler

A B&O P-3, P-4, P-7, P1d or Q-4

A P&LE A2a, K-5b or K-6

A 'modern' high drivered ten wheeler

A real 2-6-2 (the Bachpersonn 'prairie' is a USRA 0-6-0 with idler trucks added)

A non shrouded 4-4-2

Any 4-8-0

An AGEIR box cab

A Baldwin road switcher

A Lima yard switcher

A US prototype heavy interurban

I still like N scale, though.

Maybe Kato's next run will fix the too tall stanchion on the conductors side, where the blower duct ends.

There's a lot to be fixed on the Kato models, like the squinty number boards on the long hood, etc. Another big problem is availabilty in phases and road selection (for some).

Let's hope there really will be a quality up to date model from someone other than Kato. At this point there must be hundreds of paint scheme possibilities for various SD40-2 phases.

not really, but Im a bit upset. Im upset because I cant get an Burlington Northern SD40-2 in N scale without paying a fortune for it. Meanwhile I can get a HO Athearn BN SD40-2 for $89.00 BNIB, can someone tell me why that is. Please allow me to step down from my soapbox now thanks.

I have three katos, one early paint and the other two more later, all with DCC. I only use them occasionaly (actually just two of them) to pull semi-modern Hazmat and high/wide loads. Not my locale so i'm inclined to sell them.
