Colton Tower is the busiest place in SoCal. Tower razed in 1980:




In memory of Frank Eckler, 2nd trick operator. He was a good friend to many railfans. The box to his left is full of doll parts, he had a hobby/sideline of restoring dolls:




If Frank in that setting seems somehow familiar, take a look at http://www.humpyard.com/, from when the tower was still strongarm. The entire operation was reduced to that little white and gray box on the desk behind him in the above pic.

A GO Train at Pickering, ON., with a pretty rare back to back set of F59's. Traditionally, all GO units face east and cab cars west, so finding this set was a pretty good catch:

Yes, this is the western tip of the island, Sainte Anne de Bellevue.
