Source for SMLs and Wiring Tips Requested

For those that are doing layout lighting, where's the best place to by surface mounted LEDs or just LEDs in general.  I'm starting to mess with lighting my facilities and want to go small (and easy) at first.

Any tips or tricks for wiring these bad boys and the power supply used for them?  I'm running DCC, so not familiar with hooking up A/C lights other than using an old power pack.

Thanks,
Brian

Are you looking for surface mounts for buildings or overhead ceiling/track lighting?

Surface mounts are DC and could be run from a "wall wart."  All the LEDs in any configuration you desire:

I have a 6in section of flexible LED SMTs that can be cut into smaller 1-2 LED sections that have the resistor built in, and just need a 12VDC power input soldered on for buildings.
Can't model worth a darn, but can research like an SOB.

Lots of sources for LEDs. I have purchased from all of the sources listed here: http://whiteriverandnorthern.net/links_2.htm

Thanks for the links guys.  I appreciate that.

David, not sure how I missed that on your website.  Been over there more than a few times and still missed it.....
