That loco deserves better, not to be 3rd in line hauling a bad-order hopper...  At least it's an SD40-2 out front.

BTW, if Pennsey were alive today, it would probably be called PXT Corp, with ASCII art for a logo.  ;)

I like those heritage units, much better looking than the UP ones.

I'm wondering if CSX or BNSF would ever do them. A BSB or BN scheme SD70ACe would be sick.

Not for nothing but I wonder how long the yard crews will be ordered to keep these heritage units cleaner than their counterparts.... how will fans feel in a year or so when the PRR unit or Conrail unit is starting to look a bit neglected....?

I'm actually looking forward to seeing them look a little "lived in."
The big question is will the CR Blue properly fade!

If they're still around in 2016, will all the CR predecessor units get a paint out treatment to celebrate the 40th?

I can totally see me picking up about 4-5 of those units, renumbering them and running LV as a modern Class I. I think its the best fitting scheme on a Gevo of the Heritage fleet yet (and they all look good)
