Bob,

No offense to Lenny, whose pictures are usually worthy of being described as art, but I really enjoy your photos.  They often take me back to 1970s railroading that I can now barely remember (I was born in 1970).  Growing up in Cecil County, Maryland along the B&O Philly Subdivision and the Northeast Corridor, I now only have vague memories of railroading then.  I can recall waiting for 100+ car freight trains at road crossings on the Northeast Corridor.  Not only are those trains long gone, but so are the road crossings.  I only wish I would have been old enough to have appreciated what I was seeing at that time.  I'm sure there were GG1s, E44s, and all sorts of first and second generation locomotives that I cannot now recall witnessing first hand.  But, your pictures help make that pill a little easier to swallow.

Thanks for bringing these memories back and making them a lot clearer.
