Portland OR Questions..
« on: November 16, 2011, 01:10:14 AM »

I remember discussions that indicated there is a good N scale friendly hobby shop on the East side of the Willamette,  Can anyone refresh my memory with a name, location or suggestions.

Looks like I am going to be freezing my SoCal butt off during T'Day week up North so I may as well have some train fun.

Anyone know a vegetation friendly place that I could take my grandson to for lunch if we go to the Amtrak station in Vancouver to watch trains ?

Thanks all,

EJA - aka Ed Anderson

The Hobbysmith in the Hollywood District.  I can't help you on the Vegetarian fare.

Hi Ed,

If you are driving through Talent (southern Oregon), please stop by Micro-Trains for a tour.

Portland has the Hobby Smith, which is really great for N, there's also Tamy's trains in Beaverton and the Whistle Stop just south of the Airport.

Cheers

Gozer the Traveler. He will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldrini, the traveler came as a large and moving Torg! Then, during the third reconciliation of the last of the McKetrick supplicants, they chose a new form for him: that of a giant Slor!

Ed, My wife says there are several places on Main St and C St ( Main North-South One way Streets)
Also she knows one on 8th just west of the park. I, however, don't know any !
11th is the street that runs directly to the Amtrak Station.
